Restrict the permission to connect to vFabric PostgreSQL by entering the follow line into /var/vmware/vpostgres/9.2/pgdata/pg_hba.conf: # “local” is for Unix domain socket connections only local all all trust # IPv4 local connections: host all all 127.0.0.1/32 md5 host all all 10.51.29.201/32 md5 host all all 10.51.29.202/32 md5 Insert the Ip addresses that are authorized to connect to postgreSQL into the pg_hba.conf file.
